Devaraj Complete Bio & Career

Devaraj was born on 20 September 1953 in Bangalore. He is an actor working in the Kannada industry. Initially, he worked in the HMT watch factory due to financial problems in his family. He worked in the case and dial section in the factory. He worked there for a period of 9 years. His colleague named, Govindaraju suggested him to start acting in dramas. He paid heed to his advice and joined a theatre group named, Spandana. He, later on, joined a group called Sanket.
 
Initially, he played supporting roles in films. He made his debut with the film named, Trishula. Unfortunately, the film didn’t make it to the theatres. His first film was in 1986 named, 27 Mavalli Circle. The film was a success. He mainly did supporting roles. His first lead role was in the movie, Hatyakanda in 1990. His other releases include Indrajith, Navabharatha, and Aaganthuka. He also made his debut in the Tamil and Telugu film industry. his Tamil films include Villu and Malaikottai. In Telugu, he did a movie named, Yagnam and Sri. He received wide recognition owing to his performance in the films.
