Dinesh Babu Complete Bio & Career

Dinesh Babu started his career in Film Making as a cinematographer. He stood behind the camera for famous Malayalam films such as Ullasa Poonkattu, Dhruvam, King, and Commissioner. Dinesh Babu then made his Directorial debut with the film Suprabhatha starring Vishuvardhan and Suhasini Ratnam in the lead. The movie was a huge hit at the box office and he made his impact right from his first film.
 
His second venture was Idu Saadhya, the following year in 1989. The movie, was a multi-starter, was actually done with a paltry budget of just 15 lakh rupees and shot at a single site within 2 days. It set a Guinness record of fastest windup of an Indian film. After directing almost 25 films, he decided to act and made his acting debut with the Kannada film Accident in the year 2009.
 
He first married to Sobhana K K and together they have a daughter Anjana Dinesh. The marriage didn’t last long and the couple decided to separate. He again got married and this time with famous actress Asha Latha’s daughter Chethana who also assisted him in various movies.
