Disha Pandey was in class 11 when she started her acting career but she was advised to continue her degree before she continues her acting. In spite of choosing bio with math in class 12th. She took arts to complete her degree. She has done BA in human rights. She started her career as model later turn to an actress. She had completed many commercial modelling assignments as well as jewellery assignments.
She has worked for Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies. In 2010 Disha Pandey started her career with Hindi movie Bolo Raam with the role of Juhi Khan and also with Tamil movie Thamizh Padam. She had also worked in various films like Bombay Mittai, Thamizh Padam 2.0, Jai Lalitha, Manadhil Maayam Seidhai, Moksha, Manasunu Maaya Seyake, Race, Saare Jahaan Se Meghna, Mayanginen Thayanginen. Mayanginen Thayanginen by Srikanth Vemulapalli was the Telugu horror film in which she played the character of a homely girl a customer care executive employed with call taxi company which was the turning point in her career.
Later on, she worked in Ramesh Raparthy's film Race and was also seen in Hindi movie titled Saare Jahan Se Mehenga which was on the topic of inflation. She had in made her entry in Kannada movie in Jai Lalitha in 2015. After that also worked for Malayalam movie Mayamohini which has not released yet. She has signed for two more Kannada films i.e. Bombay Mittai and Subramani. Recently She has performed in Punjabi song Bacha with Prabh Gill.
