Ehsaan Noorani Complete Bio & Career

Ehsaan Noorani is a prominent music composer and a famous guitarist in the Bollywood. He studied at Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai. His family lives in Mumbai since he was born. He was interested in music and started learning guitar from his school days itself. He started his guitar classes with Mr. Bismarck Rodrigues, who is a famous and experienced guitar teacher in Mumbai at that time.
 
Ehsaan even studied at Musicians Institute in Hollywood in 1985. He started his career immediately after that. He got endorsed by Fender guitars and he is the first Indian to have that. Ehsaan has even endorsed by D’Addario and Fractal Audio. The first time he appeared in Indian entertainment as a judge for an English singing shows The Stage in 2015.
 
He is an influencer of Larry Carlton, BB King etc. He has even shared the stage and performs with Warren Mendonsa, Amyt Dutta, and singers like Tanya Sen, Arunima Banerjee in Fender and Friends show. He has performed with Purbayan Chatterjee, a renowned sitar player in The String Fraternity. Recently, Loy and Ehsaan composed a song for Women’s Day which was acted by Shruti Hassan. It was named as My Day In The Sun. He has served as a guitarist and music composer for few Bollywood films.
 
Ehsaan Noorani has won many awards for his hymning music. He won Best Music Director Award for rendering music for a Bollywood film Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2004 at National Film Awards. He won IIFA Award for the same film as the Best Music Direction in the same yea. In 2006 he won Best Music Direction IIFA Award for Bunty Aur Babli. He won IIFA Award for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Two States as Best Background Score and Best Music Director Award respectively.
 
Ehsaan won Filmfare Awards for four times till date and twice he has won Star Screen Awards for his music direction in Dil Chahta Hai, Bunty Aur Bubly movies. In 2006 he won Best Music Director Award at Zee Cine Awards for Bunty Aur Babli.
