Boosler father was an acrobat from (Russia), and her mother was a ballerina from (Romania). She did her primary school education from "Sheepshead Bay High School" and "Shellbank Junior High School." She married to "Bill Siddons," who is a music industry administrator and also the ex-manager of "The Doors." Her first job as a singer as well as a dancer in a "Touring Company."In that period she did many low assignments jobs like waitress and even "doorman" at the club"The Improvisation comedy club" in (New York).
Andy Kaufman who was a comedian regularly visited the club to whom she met first time in a club, and he was convincing her to do the comedy as a "standup comedian." Kaufman involved giving her comedy lessons to improve her comedy timing, and she gave credit to the top pioneers of that time those helped her to start her journey as a comedian like Jimmie Walker, Larry David, and Jay Leno. Boosler was the first female artist to act her first comedy-special show “Party of One” on "Cable" in the year 1986. Boosler did involve in many "cable-specials" till 2011. Her "90-minute" comedy-special "Elayne Boosler's Midnight Hour" on New Year's Eve telecasted live on Showtime from a Town Hall(New York).
After "comedy-Specials," she appeared in the show as a host like"Balderdash" (game show) on "PAX."Other popular shows in which was had guest hostings like “The Midnight Special’, “A.M. San Francisco”, “Friday Night Videos” and many other specials. At her beginning in "Cable", she involved to write and even host many "specials," and some of the "specials" those were written and hosted by "Boosler" are "ACE Awards","Writer's Guild of America ","Casting Director's Guild" and "Pollstar Awards ".She has had guest appearance roles in "The Cosby Show", "Living Single"," Night Court" and "Dear John, Sisters" and she had given voice-over in many cartoons.
