Erica Durance Complete Bio & Career

Erica Durance is an actress, producer, and director from Canada. She is mostly known for her roles in the television shows Smallville, in which she portrays Louis Lane, and on Saving Hope, in which she portrays Dr. Alex Reid. In her young age, she was trained as in classical music. After graduating high school, she shifted to Vancouver in order to take acting professionally. She studied acting at the “Yaletown Actors Studio” and her coach is also her husband, David Palffy.
 
Initially, recognised the actress started her career with commercials and guest-starring roles. Her debut film as an actress was in the movie The Untold. She rose to prominence after she was cast in the television show Smallville in which she portrays a street-smart teenager. Some other television shows she has had a role in are The Lone Gunmen,  The Chris Isaak Show, DevilWinds, Andromeda, I Me Wed,Harry’sLaw,Final Verdict, Charlie’s Angles,6 paussine Giallo, Saving Hope, and Wedding Planner Mystery.She also appeared in several movies likeThe Untold, SophieandSheba, The Bridge, The Butterfly Effect 2,  Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, and others.
 
She was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress on Television atSaturnAwards. She was nominated for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program for the Gemini Awards for the year 2008. Her beauty has been recognized and she was named as one of Canada’s 50 Most Beautiful People by the Canadian version of Hello! Magazine in 2012.
