Gary Winston Lineker was born on 30 November 1960. He is a footballer. He completed his studies from Caldecote Road school and Leicester boys Grammar school. He knew both cricket and football. He remained the captain of the cricket team in Leicestershire school. His teachers often said about him that he lays a great focus on football as compared to his studies. He made his debut at filbert street.
 
He scored the second division in the match and accordingly was promoted a year later. He had a partnership with Alan Smith. He was later signed by Everton in 1985 for an extensive amount of 800,000. He scored 30 goals in the first division. With the help of Lineker, Everton reached the final round but lost the match to Liverpool. His final match with Everton was with west ham united. He not only played but also won. He regarded his Everton team as his best.
 
Then Barcelona signed him for 2.8 Million in 1986. This happened after he won the golden boot at the world cup. He made his debut against Racing Santander. He defeated Dundee united in another game. He was then signed by Tottenham Hotspur for 1.1 Million. A 2-year contract was signed by him with Nagoya Grampus Eight. He also played from England’s side against Scotland. He played for the 1990 world cup and scored four goals. He regards football as a simple game. Then he announced his retirement.
