Gauhar Raza Complete Bio & Career

The main aim of Gauhar Raza is to familiarize the apprehension of science among common public. He has made films like Inqilab on the great Bhagat Singh and Jung-e-Azadi, on India's First conflict of Independence.
 
He was born in an open-minded family in UP, India. His family moved to Aligarh in 1958. His mother was an activist, was also vehemently tangled in the freedom struggle and had also worked with then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Allahabad. His father Wizarat Husain was a freedom fighter, a communist party member and a well-known science teacher in Aligarh Muslim University.
 
After completion of his studies in 1979, he got employed at Eicher Goodearth Ltd., an MNC, as an electrical engineer and worked there for three years. Because of unfolding a few primary design complication that the company was surfacing, within a short-term he got promoted to Executive-Engineer level. In 1982 he got employed at National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies as a scientist and till now he is working there. Along with scientist, he was also a poet and his most famous work is "Main Chahta Hoon".
 
He is married to social worker Shabnam Hashmi, and the couple is blessed with a boy, Sahir Raza, and a girl, Seher.
