Gaurav Ghei Complete Bio & Career

Gaurav Ghei is a renowned Indian golfer and began playing Golf from a very early age. He masterminds this sport and made turned pro in the year 1991. As an amateur, he won North India Amateur, West India Amateur, and East India Amateur. In 1994, he emerged champion at the Desaru classic in the year 1994. Since this titled, he never looked back in his career and the following year became a renowned golfer in the country after winning $500,000 Gadgil Western Masters.
 
He became an international star after defeating the home favorite Colin Montgomerie at the Alfred Dunhill Cup in 1996. The following year, he created history by achieving the feat of becoming first ever Indian golfer to even qualify for the decorated British Open. He bagged three prestigious Asian tiles named Asian Nations Cup, Taiwan Masters, and Pine Valley Beijing Open in the year 1999, 2006 and 2007 respectively.
