The eminent Businessman, Gulu Lalvani is well recognized as the Chairman and Founder of the company Binatone which is a large scale manufacturer of cordless phones. As a matter of fact, he established this company along with his brothers namely Pratap Singh and Kartar Singh who then used to import the radios from Hong Kong. Later, all the three brothers divided the company into different groups located at various parts of the world. Currently, his company tends to be the number one consumer electronics company in the United Kingdom. However, his brother Kartar Singh Lalvani established another wing known as Vitabiotics which is looked after by him and his son. A few years back it had gained the great momentum in the United Kingdome telecommunication industry. Most prominently, it was having the 15% market share when domestic telephone sector was considered in the United Kingdom.  
 
Subsequently, Gulu Lalvani sold his company – Binatone to his elder son known as Dino in the year 2010. He took this major decision in order to concentrate and plan for other businesses. However, his other asset consists of Royal Phuket Marina worth 32 million British pounds and was also featured in the Millionaire Asia. Most prominently, he has good business connections in Hong Kong. He also decided to become a vegan after witnessing the critical situations in the documentary named as Eating which was in turn directed by Mike Anderson.
