Abbas did her architecture course from National College of Arts (Lahore). He is also passionate about the writing of Urdu poetry. After partition in 1947, his family was settled in Lahore. He is a Pakistani actor who appeared in films, dramas, soaps as well as telefilms. In 2003, he made his tv debut from the serial Umrao Jaan Ada as Nawab Sultan. In addition, he played the role of Sayeed in his first debuted Telefilm Kyun Pyaar Nahi Miltaa in 2006. In 2013, he made his debut in Lollywood film industry from the Yasir Nawaz's romantic-drama film "Anjuman" was the remake of 70's film released with the same name along with the co-star Sara Loren.
In the next year, he got his first break in the Bollywood from 2014, Vikram Bhatt’s directed film Creature 3D opposite Bipasha Basu who was in the female lead. Moreover, he earned the nomination of Best Male Debut at the Film Fare Awards. 2016, hit film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in which played the cameo role and even shared the screen with Aishwarya Rai, Ranvir Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma. Alongside acting, he is also so much passionate for singing and to extend his passion in 2015, he sang the song of Tu Mera Nahi from the album Mera Naam Yousuf Hai.
Another talent is hosting/anchoring, and he made his appearance as a host for 2012, 17th PTV Awards along with co-host Saba Qamar. He has also hosted the Bollywood award shows such as Big Star Entertainment Awards in 2014 with Sunil Grover. His most notable roles in Tv serials Khuda Aur Muhabbat, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Mera Naam Yusuf Hai Tum Kon Piya Mera Naseeb, Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai and Dil-e-Muztar. He is a multitalented actor, host, daily soap artist and singer who coinage in the entertainment world through his extreme talent and good timing of acting on screen.
