Ishita Dutta is a well known Indian television and film actress and anchor. She attended Dakshin Bharat Mahila Samaj English School in Jamshedpur with her sister Tanushree Dutta. She later perceived her studies in Media from Mumbai. She also attended Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares school as advised by her sister Tanushree. She started her career in acting with a film called ‘Chanakyudu’ in 2012 which was in Telugu language and she was cast against Tanish. She was supposed to work with her sister Tanushree Dutta for Shrikanth H.R. directed and  Niyaaz Ahmed produced film ‘Yenidu Manasali’, but the movie left unreleased and incomplete.
 
She started her career on TV with a daily soap aired on Star Plus ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ for the years 2013-14.She was cast opposite actor Rahul Sharma in the serial.This show gave her identity to the large audience.She participated in the dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 6’ in 2013.She worked in Kannada film ‘Raja Rajendra’ in which she played a lead role in 2015.
 
She entered Hindi film industry in 2015 with her debut movie’ Drishyam’ which was an action drama featuring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Tabu. She played the character of Ajay’s adopted daughter. Drishyam worked well on box office and she got the fame with her role. She was then cast in Life Ok’s daily soap opera ‘Rishton Ka Saudagar - Baazigar’ in a character ‘Arundhati’ in 2016. She will be seen in comedy-action movie’ Firangi’ with Kapil Sharma and Monica Gill due to release in December 2017.
