Ivete Maria Dias de Sangalo Cady, popularly known as IveteSangalo, is a well-established Brazilian singer, powerful songwriter and an occasional actress. She has also hosted television shows. In 1993, she joined the Banda Eva group and released various albums which earned her a lot of popularity. She is amongst the most popular, phenomenal and best-selling Brazilian female singers of the present. She has released six albums with Banda Eva, a group that she was earlier a part of and then seven more albums in a solo career after 1977.
Her other famous albums with the band arePraAbalar in 1994, BelezaRara in 1996, Hora H in 1995, Eva, Você e Eu in 1998, Banda Eva Ao Vivo in 1997, etc. Then she left the band and came up with her first solo album, IveteSangalo, which turned out to be a blockbuster success in 1999. It was also made a part of the nomination for the Latin Grammy.
