James Faulkner Complete Bio & Career

James Faulkner is an Australian all-rounder who rose from ranks to become a permanent member of the Australian limited over side. He started off from junior level and then was selected in the Australian under 19 World Cup team.
 
His back of the hand slower balls and pace variations makes him one of the most difficult bowlers to pick and his brutal hitting at the end makes him one of the most bankable all rounder in the shorter version of the game. He has received lucrative contracts from various T-20 teams around the world.
 
At the first class level, he has been one of the most consistent performers and has won RickyPonting medal for three times in his career this far. He has not just won matches for Australia with his bowling but has won matches for his team single-handedly with the bat as well. His 64 not out of just 29 deliveries against India in 2013 was among the best knocks of One Day Internationals.
 
He was the unsung hero of the 2015 winning Australian team and was adjourned man of the match in the finals against arch-rivals New Zealand. For a 25-year-old Australian that was arguably one of the proudest moments of his young career.
 
He played for Rajasthan Royals in the 2013 edition and won them matches single handed.  For his heroics, he was retained by the franchise and after the franchise suspended in 2015. He was drafted to Gujarat Lions for whom he played the 9th and 10th edition of the IPL. He went unsold in the 11th edition of the IPL and is also discarded from the Australian national team after a series of poor performances. He is now seen playing T20 cricket for Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League. He last played an ODI for Australia in October 2017.
