Jerry Spinelli Complete Bio & Career

Most prominently, he writes children’s novel ranging from adolescence to early adulthood. Two of his novels namely Wringer and Maniac Magee are well known among the crowd. Initially, Jerry worked as an editor for a magazine which paved way for his brilliant writing career. In the year 1982, he released his book Space Station Seventh Grade, the first book for kids. Later, he won the Newbery Award for his first Novel – Maniac Magee. 
 
He was appreciated by his readers for the works Stargirl, Milkweed, Jake and Lily, Mama Seeton’s Whistle, and Hokey Pokey. As a matter of fact, he wrote a poem during his school days. The poem was about the high school football team. Most evidently, the poem was published in a newspaper and geared his interest to become a professional writer.
