Jithu Madhavan was born and grew up in a Hindu Brahmin family. He entered entertainment industry as an assistant assistant and assists the director Johnpaul George in the Malayalam film titled 'Guppy', which was released on 05-08-2016. The film went superhit and received 8.1 rating out of 10 on IMDB.
After that, he written a story himself and directed himself. His first story and directional film was produced by Johnpaul George, Girish Gangadharan & Joby George. The film was released on 03-02-2023 with the title of 'Romancham' in Malayalam cinema with the star cast, including Soubin Shahir, Arjun Ashokan, Sajin Gopu, Siju Sunny, and others. The overall budget of the film was INR 3 crore (approx). The film went superhit on the silver screen and done the business of more than INR 70 crore as per box office report.
In 2024, he written and directed the Malayalm film 'Aavesham' with the budget of INR 30 crore. The film was released on 11-04-2024 in Malayalam cinema with the main starer Fahadh Faasil.
