Kamal Khan Complete Bio & Career

Kamal Khan’s stint with music started when he was just 5 years old. He took his initial music lessons from his uncle Shauqat Ali Dewana. To build a career in music, he quit his studies and began participating in music competitions. 
 
His music career took off after he participated in the famous singing reality show called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. He was mentored by the veteran musicians Vishal-Shekhar. After giving numerous stellar performances throughout the show, he went on to emerge the winner of the show. His mentors on the show continued to support him even after the show and offered him his debut singing offer in their film Tees Maar Khan. Thus, he made his singing debut with the song titled Wallah Re Wallah from this film in the year 2010. After which, they presented him several other opportunities and some of his songs which need a special mention are Ishq Sufiana from The Dirty Picture and 'Jhooth Bolliya' from the film Jolly LLB. For his song Ishq Sufiyana, he also won the Stardust and Mirchi Music Award in 2012. In addition to Bollywood, he has also sung songs in Punjabi films. His Punjabi song ‘Dil De Varke’ from the film Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad won him People’s Choice Award in 2014.
