Kevin Anderson was born on 18-05-1986 in Johannesburg in the state of Gauteng, South Africa. He is a South African Tennis Player.

Kevin Anderson Complete Bio & Career

Kevin Anderson started playing tennis from the young age of six. His career took shape during his time in the University of Illinois. He spent three seasons there from 2005-2007. He garnered All-American honours in all three seasons in the United States. 
 
He then became the number ranked male South African tennis player in 2008. After turning pro in 2007, he has featured in almost all prestigious events since then. He burst into the top 10 ATP rankings in 2015. He won his first ever ATP title in 2011 after winning the South African Open at his hometown, Johannesburg. 
 
He rose to prominence from 2014 after he started beating the top seeded players like Tomáš Berdych,  Marin ?ili?, and  Stan Wawrinka. But since 2016, he has struggled to carry on with the momentum that he created since last two years. The main reason being injury, he missed most of the season due to an injured shoulder. 
 
While in school days, he used to participate in the 800-metre races as well. He loves playing on hard courts and favourite shot is serve and volley. Off the court, he loves playing the guitar, reading books and engaging in outdoor adventures. 
 
He along with his former coach and wife have found a website called www.RealLifeTennis.com. Through this site, they provide in-depth analysis of the sport.

He was born to Michael Anderson and Barbara Anderson. He married his longtime girlfriend Kelsey O'Neal who is a golfer in 2011.
