Kid Rock’s first album Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast was released in 1990. This album made him very popular and he was looked upon as one the biggest rap stars in Detroit. After Jive records released him from the contract in 1991, he was signed up by an independent record label titled Continuum Records. Kid Rock’s second album The Polyfuze Method was released in 1993 and sold around 15,000 copies. In first 5 years of his professional career, he tasted highest of highs and lowest of lows. Some of his famous Discography includes Devil Without a Cause, Cocky, Kid Rock, Born Free and latest release First Kiss to name a few.
 
Kid Rock has been actively involved with several charitable organizations. Kid Rock has performed for American service men and women in many countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo, Kuwait and United Kingdom. 
 
In July 2006 Kid Rock married Pamela Anderson in Saint-Tropez after it was reported that she was pregnant. The marriage was short-lived and in November 2006, Anderson filed divorce, citing incompatible differences.
