The innovative screenwriter, Kranti’s major works include CRD, Mahek, Gandhi of the Month, and Chaitra. He has undergone professional training in Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). As a matter of fact, he started the direction of both short movies as well as feature movies in Hindi and English. His debut movie is Mahek and during his professional studies, Chaitra was submitted as his thesis work.
The movie Chaitra was shot in the year 2002 whose story was written by G. A. Kulkarni. The lead artists of this movie are Lalan Sarang and Sonali Kulkarni. This movie bagged the continuous three National Film Awards in the year 2002. Additionally, this movie was screened on the big day – Mumbai International Film Festival. Later, he formed a film club in college when he was studying in FTII. Later, he gave an opportunity for international artists such as Ayush Mahesh Khedekar and Harvey Keitel in his award-winning movie Gandhi of the Month.
Later, in the year 2007, he worked on the children based movie – Mahek which was screened on the big festive day London Film festival inviting a large number of Positive Reviews. However, during the Arpa International Film Festival in the year 2007, he received Best Feature Film Award for the movie – Mahek. Additionally, this movie was nominated for the category of Best Children’s Film in the Asia Specific Screen Awards conducted in Australia.
