Kriti Kharbanda Complete Bio & Career
Kriti did her schooling from "Baldwin Girls High School" and graduation from "Lord Mahavir Jain College" she did her diploma in "Jewelry Designing." Since her childhood days, she was more enthusiastic to see herself on the Tv screens and to extend her career path in modelling and acting, she started appearing in many Tv commercials and some other assignments. Her first advertisement with the jewellery brand name "Bhima Jewellers" to endorse their jewellery. Later on, she also appeared in some more commercials like Fair and Lovely and Spyar. The NRI director "Raj Pippala" saw her first time on "Spider Billboard" and he was quite impressed by her charm and beauty, he wanted to take her in his films as the main female leads.
Today she is the star personality in the field of acting just because of her mother who encouraged her to become an actress. She got her first break in films by her first Telugu movie “Ala Modalaindi" (2011) in which she was a very minimal role. Later on, she had to play a role in"retro scenes" to recreate the era of 70's heroines, and for the recreation and also for the makeover, she even chose the jewellery and costumed those she had to use in the film to match the outfits of 70's. But despite that film was just an average earner. In the same year, she did appear in some more language film like Telugu film "Mr. Nookayya alongside" and also Kannada film "Prem Adda".
The film "Googly" became a career launcher for her to give new direction and path to set her in Kannada film industry. Critics praised "Kriti" depiction of a medical student in the film Googly. Film collected “15 crores” at the box office and it became the highest grossed earner Kannada film in 2013. In the year 2014 Kannada film "Super Ranga" released and she won the "Best Actress Award"(Critics) at the (4th South Indian International Movie Awards) and she also got a nomination for the "Best Actor Female" at her life's first ever "Filmfare Awards." Kriti first Bollywood debut movie was "Vikram Bhatt " directed the movie "Raaz Reboot " opposite "Emraan Hashmi."The main attraction of the film was it's all shots were done in Romania. Since then, she has become a regular in Bollywood films and was highly appreciated for her performance in films like Shadi Mein Zaroor Aana, and Guest in London among others. She was recently seen in Sajid Nadiadwala's multi-starrer film Housefull 4 and Anees Bazmee's multi-starrer film Pagalpanti. She will be next seen in Bollywood film Taish.
