Short Biography

Kudrat Singh was born on 27-09-1989 in Patiala in the state of Punjab, India. She is an Indian Singer.

Kudrat Singh Complete Bio & Career

Kudrat Singh was five years old when she started singing. During her school days, she participated in almost all the singing competitions and won them all. She then obtained her graduate degree from Government Girls College in Patiala. Post which she obtained B.Ed degree and to hone her singing skills, she did MA in music Punjab University and also did M.Phil as well from the same University.
 
It was her father who influenced her to take up music from an early age and it was he who gave her initial training in music. During her time in University, she won the gold medal for singing for 5 years in a row for performing at the Youth Festival during her time in University. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. in music. She rose to prominence after winning the singing reality show "Sir Sartraj" season 2 which was aired on DD Punjabi. She has been a consistent performer at North Zone Cultural Centre event in which she represents her very own state of Punjab. She has also performed at the prestigious NSD (National School of Drama) thrice. She received a scholarship from CCRT (Centre for Cultural Resource & Training) at the age of 12 and they sponsored her studies till the age of 20. She has also performed at AIR (All India Radio) and s92.7 Big FM. Her forte is folk songs and is a proud recipient of Nightingale of Punjab Award from the hands of Dolly Guleria. Recently she released her single track titled “Heer Saleti”. She performed alongside singing a duet with veteran Punjabi singer Pammi Bai.
