The American Singer, LeToya became an active member of the R&B girl group named as Destiny’s Child. During her time in this group, she earned 2 Grammy Awards and was able to launch a number of commercial recordings. All through her career, she has sold almost 25 million records along with the American Girl Group – Destiny’s Child. Basically, she worked as the vocalist on the first 2 singles as well as albums. Later, she decided to start with the solo career and signed a contract deal with the music group named as Capitol Records. In the year 2006, the sole album titled as LeToya could reach the topmost position in the list of United States Billboard 200 chart of albums. Later, in the same year, her album was regarded the platinum certification by RIAA. 
 
Subsequently, he single named as Torn earned the position in the top 10 countdown show – 106 & Park of BET. Most prominently, AOL gave the title as “one of the best new artists of the year 2006”. Additionally, she has also earned the title as Top Songwriter of 2006 by the organization known as ASCAP. Her second album – Lady Love was a huge commercial success which reached number 1 position on the list of Top R&B or Hip-Hop Albums. She has also performed in the movies like Seasons of Love, Lucky Girl, and much more.
