As a matter of fact, he worked as the thirteenth Finance Minister of Pakistan for the period between 1985 and 1988. Initially, at the beginning stages of his career, he served as the postdoctoral researcher in the Harvard Kennedy School. Later, he came back to his nation and served as the Chief Economist. Consequently, he went to the United States after the completion of election which was then led by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. However, during the 1970s, he portrayed his dedicated work as the Policy Director in the World Bank. Additionally, he worked as a prominent and excellent economic advisor to the person named as McNamara.
