Maika Monroe, a Sweet and lovely actress and a Freestyle Kite Boarder, known as “Scream Queen” of the current generation was born in California. She Initially didn’t want to become an actor, she was a trained dancer as a kid. She learned Kite Boarding from her father who is also a professional Kite Boarder and began Kite Boarding when she was just 13years old.
 
At the age of 17, she took a break from her stalled movie career and started professional training for kiteboarding. In 2012, she made her acting debut from the film At Any Price. In 2013, She worked in a movie called “labour Day” while still balancing her Kiteboarding profession. In the same year, she achieved world rank 32 in the professional freestyle kiteboarder and Claimed Rank 2 in the International Red Bull Big Air Completion held in the Dominican Republic.
 
She is famous for her role of Anna Peterson in an American Action Thriller film The Guest and for her role of Jay Height in an American supernatural horror film It Follows, for which she was admired a lot. In 2016, she appeared in the Sci-Fi movie the 5th Wave in the role of Ringer.
 
She received her first nomination in the Hampton’s International Film Festival in 2015 for the critically acclaimed movie It Follows and was also honoured by an award for the same. In 2016, She received her first nomination in the CinemaCon USA for her role in American Science fiction disaster film Independence Day: Resurgence. She has received the Best Actress award for her role in It Follows at Fangoria Chainsaw Awards. At Present, she is doing movies like Felt, Shotgun, the Silent Man and many more.
