The Canadian Actor, Matthew performed in the debut television series Queer as Folk as Peter in the year 2002. However, he is well recognized for his role of Jake Kimble in the movie series – The Grudge. As a whole, she has appeared in almost a dozen TV series and greater than 10 television films. Additionally, she has also performed in many short movies as well as feature length movies. Most prominently, he received the Young Artist Award for his brilliant performance in Candles on Bay Street and Gooby.
 
Matthew got a chance to perform in the lead role as Will Burton which is a feature movie named as Big Spender. His performance in many television series were recognized and was given the chance to play the role of Harry and Francis Ouimet in the movies peep and The Greatest Game Ever Played respectively. Consequently, she got a brilliant opportunity to play the role of Rachel Talbot along with his co-artist Rhona Mitra who possesses the supernatural powers in the movie Skinwalkers.
 
However, this horror movie paved way for many other horror movies in his future such as The Grudge 2 and The Grudge 3 in the role of Jake Kimble. Later, he played the role of a high school student as Ethan Morgan in the television movie series – My Babysitter’s a Vampire. Additionally, he became popular when he performed in the episodes of Stine’s The Haunting Hour.
