Mayuri Kango Complete Bio & Career

Mayuri Kango is a renowned Bollywood actress who worked in Bollywood in the decade of 1990s. Her mother was a stage actress and thus she had some contacts in Bollywood. After completion of her studies in Aurangabad, she visited her mother in Mumbai when she was spotted by veteran director Saeed Akhtar Mirza. He immediately offered her a lead role in his film Naseem. Thus, she made her acting debut through this film. She was next seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s romantic flick Papa Kehte Hain. This movie like her debut movie was a disaster at the box-office but this film’s song Ghar Se Nikalte Hi made her a household name in India.
 
She was then seen in some less popular Bollywood films such as Betaabi, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet, and Badal among others. After failing to make her mark on the silver screen, she started her new innings on the small screen. She made her television debut with the series called Dollar Bahu in the year 2001. For next 3 years, she starred in various other television series such as Rangoli, Kittie Party, and Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat among others. There also she failed to make much of an impact.
 
She completed her MBA after her marriage from City University of New York-Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business. She then relocated to India and worked as an MD for the French group called Performics. She was recently in rews after she joined Google as Industry Head of Google India in April 2019.
