Meezaan Jafri was born to actor/dancer Jaaved Jaffrey. He did his schooling Since in Mumbai. Later, he attended the Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania and completed his graduation in business. Since childhood, he too dreamt of becoming a star, and to pursue his dream, he did a film direction and editing diploma course at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
After returning to Mumbai, he started assist filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He made his Bollywood debut as a assistant director through Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Bajirao Mastani' in 2015. next, he assisted Sanjay Sir's film Padmaavat in 2018. He was roped in by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming project Malaal. Then, he made his acting debut in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hindi romantic drama film 'Malaal' in 2019 as Shiva More opposite Sharmin Segal. For his performance in Malaal, he received nominations for the Best Actor Debut at the 65th Filmfare Awards & 20th Zee Cine Awards.
In 2021, he appeared in Hungama 2 opposite Pranitha Subhash, Paresh Rawal & Shilpa Shetty. Next, he assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the Bollywood film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' in 2022. He appeared in 'Yaariyan 2' in 2023 opposite Divya Khosla Kumar, Yash Dasgupta, Pearl V Puri, and others. Next, he was seen in 'The Miranda Brothers' in 2024 opposite Harshvardhan Rane, in 'Nadaaniyan' in 2025 opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan & Khushi Kapoor.
