The famous business tycoon, Indian Entrepreneur, chairperson and venture capitalist, Mir Imran, was born to a doctor family. He went to Rutgers University in New Jersey to study electrical engineering and biomedical engineering. He got his Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and master’s degree in biomedical engineering. He also worked as research specialist for 3 years. 
 
He started his career when he started working for Intec systems and made a development in the field of cardiology. He did the invention of cooled RF ablation catheter for ventricular arrhythmias treatment. He also did the invention of aspirator system for use in catheter based interventions. He was having a keen interest to develop medical devices so as to adopt the advance treatment options for the patients. 
 
He was known for his scientist role in the field of medical devices. He also formed InCube Labs in order to fulfil his concept of using this lab as an applied research institute. After the formation of InCube Labs, he has formed more than a dozen companies. He became the Managing director of InCube Ventures. The InCube Venture is a type of capital fund which deals with early life science. 
 
He also became the Medtronic Distinguished Lecturer at John Hopkins Biomedical Engineering Day and keynote speaker at UT Dallas. This famous personality is honored with many awards and has many publications such as admission to National Academy of Engineering, Rutgers University Distinguished Engineer Award. He featured in many magazines such as EE Times, Stanford Medicine, Rutgers 1766 Alumni Magazine, Innovative Doctoring and medical device and diagnostics magazine.
