Misha Ghoshal is one of the most decorated actresses in Tamil film industry. She is well-known for playing supporting roles. She started her career as a theater artist and after spending a significant amount of time at the theater she landed into cinematic world. She made her acting debut with the crime thriller Tamil film Naan Mahaan Alla in 2010. She played supporting role as a friend of lead actress Kajal Aggarwal. She was well received for her portrayal of a scientist in A. R. Murugadoss’s Shruti Hassan and Suriya starred film titled 7aum Arivu.
 
She played a memorable role in the Tamil film titled Visaranai in 2015. The film was premiered at the 72nd Venice Film Festival in Italy and also ended up winning the Amnesty International Italia Award. This crime thriller was produced by Dhanush and Misha was cast alongside Anandhi and Dinesh.  For the most part of her career, she has played lead actresses best friend’s role.
 
In 2013, she finally got to play a lead role in Immanuel Prakash’s short film titled Akku.
 
During her school, she was a tomboy type of girl and thought of becoming an actress never crossed her mind. Before becoming an actress she took up some modelling assignments and also performed on few live dance shows.
 
Currently, she is filming for her upcoming film Yazh.
