Najibullah Zadran Complete Bio & Career

Najibullah is a hard hitting left-handed batsman and plays international cricket from the Afghanistan team. Najibullah made his debut in the international cricket against Ireland in 2012. He is one of the most emerging batsmen in the Afghanistan team as he had played some of the best innings which were crucial for the team to win. 
 
In 2019, he scored his debut century against Ireland during their series and helped Afghanistan to win it. He scored his maiden fifty as well against Ireland in 2015. He is having a decent career in the T20 in which his debut match was against the Indian team. 
 
He had played nearly sixty ODIs thus far with an average of more than 30. With 10 fifties and a century, he made Afghanistan cricket council select him in their World Cup 2019 team. The series against Ireland before the WC 2019 was a major factor involved in his selection. He can easily hit boundaries and has the ability to perform as a game changer. Zadran has played fifty T20 matches and has scored with an average of over 30. 
 
He had scored two fifties in his twenty-twenty career. Also, Zadran has a mammoth strike rate of 140 in this format which helped him to get a rank under forty. However, he still has a long way to go in his ODI career. The emergence of the Afghanistan team in the international cricket will provide him with the platform to score big and be among the top batsman in both ODI as well as T20. 
 
He also has a bowling career in the first class cricket. Zadran also has bowled in two of his ODI matches with an average of 6 but was unable to take wickets. Still, his main department is batting where he could score big if promoted to the top order. He plays an important role in being the backbone of the Afghanistan team as he plays in the middle order.
