Naseeruddin Shah was born on 20-07-1949 in Barabanki in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an Indian Film Actor, Environmentalist, Theatre Actor, Television Actor & Film Director who has been acted in more than 100 movies in various languages like Hindi, Kannada, Gujarati, Bengali, Malayalam, English, Marathi, and Telugu. He also acted in some short movies and television series.

Actor Naseeruddin Shah is one of Bollywood's greatest and finest actors, who play their part enthusiastically and easily win them even. He devoted his whole life to Bollywood and actually made several great movies even during this time of course.
In 1975, he made his acting debut through Shyam Benegal's film Nishant. In the early phase of his career, he had done most of his movies with the Shabana Azami or Smita Patil. While his distinguished career, he played notable and remarkable roles in the films Izzazat as well as Masoom that drew his attention to be the future great actor of the family-oriented as well as dramatical movies. Despite the film, Izzazat' achieved huge success at the box office and supported increasing Naseeruddin Shah's status as an actor. With the 1980 film Hum Panchayat, Naseeruddin Shah started playing a leading role in Hindi cinema. In the year 1982, he was cast in the film " Dil Achieve Dil Hain" along with Rakhi and Ismail Shroff directed this film.
In 1986, his following great success attained through the blockbuster hit movies such as " Karma, " in which he worked with veteran Dilip Kumar, Jalwa, and Hero Hiralal was made him the star of the cult films. His excellence in the 1999 movie " Sarfarash " with Amir Khan was widely recognized. He portrayed the character of a villain with dual individuality. He gained his impression in commercial movies also while he performed in the super-hit film Tridev in the '90s, and many other great films in Hindi cinema, for his contribution to the cinema through his excellent and award-winning acting talent he received the Padma Shri Award in the year 1987 and also he was awarded the Padma Bhushan Award afterward in 2003.
He gave outstanding appearances in movies like Katha, The Dirty Picture, and Junoon, and various others, though his performance in the film Iqbal in the year 2006 was undoubtedly he would consider as the greatest supporting actor of the Bollywood films. Also for his magnificent acting in this film. For that film, he won the National Film Award for the Best Supporting Actor.
He married Manara Sikri, whom he had a girl named Hiba Shah, after the death of her first wife, and later he married Ratna Pathak, to whom he had two children- Vivan and Imad. Besides the films, he made his debut on the small screen through the series which was based on the life of Mirza Ghalib, and renowned lyricist Gulzar directed this series.
