Navni Parihar is an Indian television and film actress. She has been a regular feature on the small screen since the 1990s. She was seen in some Doordarshan serials and some commercials as well. She has played several character roles in films for over two decades. She is still known for her portrayal of real life Indira Gandhi in Shekhar Kapoor's documentary series titled 7 RCR and Pradhanmantri. Her noted appearances include Hulchul, Page 3, Tanu Weds Manu, Corporate and Papa Kehte Hain among others.
 
She has been one of the greatest finds of Indian television. Dastaan, Bani-Ishq Da Kalma, Mujrim Hazir Ho and Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na are some of her well-known small screen roles. Her performance in Bani-Ishq Da Kalma has won her huge appreciations and awards. Her performance in Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein and Gurbani also needs a special mention.
 
She made her debut on small screen with the famous Doordarshan show Mujrim Hazir Ho. She was cast alongside veteran actors like Utpal Dutt and Nutan in this series.
