Ne-Yo is a renowned American recording producer, actor, dancer, singer, and songwriter. He first came into the public eye in 2004 after he wrote the famous song titled "Let Me Love You", which he wrote for the singer Mario. The song became a sensation and it impressed record label chief named Def Jam to that extent that he went on to sign him.
Since Ne Yo was born in a musical family, he started the following music from a very young age and also developed an interested in writing songs. His mother supported her throughout and insisted him to pursue a career in music. He started his journey by associating with a band named ‘Envy’. However, he parted his ways with the band in 2000. He then entered into a contract with Columbia records. He could not release even a single album with them in a year and hence was forced to cancel the contract. Finally, he made his debut with the album titled ‘In My Own Words’ in the year 2006. So much hype was already built even before the release of the album and finally, after its release, it was declared a smash hit. Many successful albums kept on following this talented artist and eventually he became one of the most sought-after singers and songwriter in the industry.
In addition to singing, he also proved his worth as an actor, dancer. Among the films that he acted the most noted ones include 'Battle: Los Angeles', ‘Stomp the Yard', and 'Red Tails' among various others.
