Educated initially at Howbridge Junior School in Witham and then from Notley Highschool from  Braintree at Essex. At the Early age, he was good at football and got a name as a striker in school’s  football team with good score achievements.  He exited from sports due to injury later.
 
He rose to this fame from the television series named The X Factor in which he performed since 2009 as a participant showing impressive talent and got flying colours. Then further on the initial live shows,   he sang the songs “She’s the one”,  “A Fool in Love”,”Come Together”, “Twist and Shout “and “Don’t Stop Me Now” and earned a good name as the best performer in the show. Moving Ahead with this fame he got offers from the music companies.
 
In February 2010 he released his debut album titled “Olly Murs”  which ranked second in UK Albums Chart and sold over 108,000 albums also won awards  “Best British Album”, “Best International Music “ and “UK Male Solo Megastar”. This album had the songs “Please Let Me Go” and “Thinking of Me”. Further, in 2011 he released his second album entitled “In Case You Don’t Know”, on this album the song “Dance With Me Tonight “ charted number 1 in UK Albums charts and also top ten in Germany Switzerland and other European countries. Then in 2013-2014 released album “Right Place Right Time”, in 2014-2015 the album” Never Been Better”  and at present since 2016 the album”24 Hrs”.
 
Olly Murs also had the role of the presenter in the television show  X Factor which was his career launching pad. Not only that he also presented other television shows “ A Night With Olly Murrs”,” An Olly Jolly Christmas”  and “Text Santa”.
