Omar Lulu was raised in the city of Thrissur in Kerala. He completed his school level education from De-Paul school, Choondal. He then enrolled at the Royal College of Engineering and Technology in Akkikavu, Thrissur. He always dreamt of making a career in the film industry. He, therefore, made various short films during his time in college. 
 
After waiting for a long time to finally get a break, he finally got 1 when he was offered to direct the much acclaimed Malayalam film titled “Happy Wedding” in the year 2016. The film was a huge hit and was also appreciated by critics as well. His next venture was an adult comedy film titled Chunkzz was also a huge hit and helped him establish in the Malayalam film industry. His upcoming film Oru Adaar Love has already made a lot of buzzes after the film’s first look was out. The teaser went viral and all thanks to choosing debutant Priya Prakash Varrier who has arguably become one of the most searched celebrities today.
