The retired boxer, Oscar is well recognized for his televised fights. He won the medal at 1992 Olympics when he was 19 years old. Later, he is marked by 10 world titles earned in 6 different weight classes. Most prominently, he used to generate millions of dollars from his fights until his retirement n the year 2009. 
 
After receiving the medal at 1992 Olympics, he earned his professional title – The Junior Lightweight Championship of WBO. Nextly, he won the match against John Molina and elevated his records to 18-0. However, in the year 1996, he got a wonderful opportunity to fight against the strong opponent Julio Cesar Chavez. In this match, he was able to defeat the famous Mexican fighter with a wound above the Cesar’s eye. Ultimately, this match proved his caliber and elevated him to next level in his career path. 
 
Oscar is been rated at various levels such as Super featherweight, Light Weight, Light welterweight, Welterweight, Light middleweight, and Middleweight. As a matter of fact, Hoya has got a dual citizenship – American as well as Mexican. As a whole, he has performed in a total of 45 fights among which he could win 39 fights which tend to be an outstanding achievement.
