The gorgeous Model, Parvathy won the Miss India award in 2008 and is given the title as Beauty Pageant. Consequently, she was one step back during the Miss World 2008 and tends to be the runner-up. Additionally, she has earned the other titles such as Miss World Asia & Oceania during the competition - Miss World 2008. Again, in the same year, she was awarded the Femina Miss India South for the first time. This competition was held at Hyderabad International Convention Center. Her other subtitles include Miss Beautiful Hair as well as Miss Best Catwalk. Apart from the modeling career, she has also performed in many numbers of movies. Initially, she had got a chance to perform in the Bollywood movie named as United Six. This move was in turn directed by Vishal Aryan Singh. This movie was filmed in the year 2011 in which she played the role of Shain
 
Eventually, she also entered the Tamil movie industry. In the year 2012, she landed a role of Jasmine for the first time in the Tamil movie named as Billa II. Consequently, she made her way into the Malayalam movie titled as KQ in which she performed as Sunaina. However, she also played the role of ikita in the Hindi movie named Pizza. Apart from the movies, she took part in the Hindi reality show – Fear Factor.
