Piaa Bajpai Complete Bio & Career

Piaa was born and raised in Uttar Pradesh.  She always had a dream to become an actor and therefore, she relocated to Delhi at the age of 16 and enrolled for a computer science course. Her parents were against her wishes and so to get her portfolio done, she worked part-time as a receptionist in a hotel and also gave tuitions and finally got her portfolio done. 
 
Soon after, she shifted to Mumbai and started working as a dubbing artist for television shows. She meanwhile was also modelling and did some commercials as well. She got a big break after noted filmmaker Priyadarshan inked her to do a commercial for him. 
 
She got noticed through the commercial and was asked to give audition various roles. Finally, Priyadarshan decided to launch her and thus she made her acting debut with Priyadarshan’s Tamil comedy movie titled Poi Solla Porom in the year 2008. The movie was a hit and she also got noticed. Lots of offers started pouring in her kitty. She was then seen in Tamil film Aegan which was a remake of Hindi film Main Hoon Na. While shooting for Aegan, she was introduced to veteran director Venkat Prabhu by Ajith Kumar and he immediately signed her for his next project Goa. 
 
The film Goa released in 2009 with some positive reviews and her performance was highly appreciated and thus she became an established actress in Tamil film industry. Her performance in K.V. Anand’s film Ko in 2011, she won herself her maiden Vijay Award. 
 
After establishing herself in the south Indian film industry, she made her Bollywood debut with the film Mumbai Delhi Mumbai in the year 2014. The movie was a disaster and two years later, she did her next Bollywood project titled Laal Rang. This movie too failed to make any impact at the box-office. Her upcoming Bollywood film is Mirza Juuliet.
