Pooja Banerjee represented Maharashtra at the National level swimming competitions. She came to prominence after she appeared on the adventure reality show called MTV Roadies Season 8. She was one of the finalists of her season. She got noticed from there and started getting various offers from the television industry. She made her acting debut through Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum in the year 2012.
After that, she has appeared in numerous other television series such as The Adventures of Hatim, Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha, and Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha among various others.
