Prahlad Acharya is a world-famous ventriloquist, storyteller, magician and a shadow artist. He was an adept of magic, who is renowned for just using his hands to show magic, while other magicians used props to showcase their skills. With his bare hands, he used to create an unimaginable world of shade and light. 
 
His hand show was famous throughout the globe as Speaking Shadows. He has performed this act in countries like Singapore, Germany, Australia, the UK, the Middle East and several others. For his act, he is acknowledged as the best in the business and that he is the only one who can perform it with ease. When he performs audiences applaud throughout his act. Speaking Shadows is a charming act in which his hands weave entertaining stories; where his magical hands create a source of light to showcase it on the giant screen.  
 
His 20-member magical show which is filled with inherited Indian illusions is called Maya Jadoo. He mixes magic with drama and has named it "dramatic". The Indian media has given him the new name Indian Houdini.
