Pujita Ponnada was born in Vizag and raised in Chennai and Delhi. She obtained her B. Tefch degree from the famous SRM Institute of Science and Technology and started working with TCS. She then quit her job and decided to try her luck in acting. She made her acting debut through Srinu Pandranki's Telugu short film titled UpmaTinesindhi in the year 2015. She then worked in various short films like Chandamama, Parichayam, and Radha Krishna among others. She finally made her silver screen debut through Telugu film Tuntari in the year 2016. She made her Bollywood film debut in 2019 through Smeep Kang's comedy film Jhootha Kahin Ka. She was recently seen in Telugu film Kalki which released in 2019.
