Purbi Joshi was born on 19th August 1974. Purbi Joshi is an Indian Actress, Performer, Comedian, and Anchor of popular Indian television shows. She is the daughter of legendary theatre personalities, National Award-winning Actress Sarita Joshi and Actor-Director Pravin Joshi. She took her initial lessons in acting from her Mother.

Purbi Joshi was first seen as a model and did modeling for successful commercial ads like Nirma Washing Powder, Thompson TV, and Happy Dent Chewing Gum. Purbi Joshi is primarily known for her Television work and has worked on numerous TV shows.
She gained maximum recognition with the comedy shows like Sajids No. 1 and Comedy Circus, which apparently entered the Limca Book of Records for being the longest running reality comic show. She was the soul of the show and her anchoring for the show helped her garner lots of praises within the household audiences.
She made her Bollywood debut with the film Dus Vidhaniya with a brief role, but movie although couldn’t get commercial success but was acclaimed heavily by critics. She then played a lead role opposite Himesh Reshammiya in Damadamm.  
After dating Valentino Fehlmann for almost four years the couple got married in December 2014 in a big fat Gujarati Wedding.
