Purva Bedi Complete Bio & Career
An Indian American Actress who was born in Chandigarh and was brought up in Belgium and US. She did her graduation in 1992 and attained a double degree in Economics from Williams College Massachusetts. But instead of getting a great career in studies she chose her passion for acting.
She has appeared in many Television series like Person of Interest, House, The Good Wife, A Gifted Man, Law and order, her most recent appearance was a Claire on the wildly successful drama Gossip Girl. Apart from Serials this Masala girl has worked in Bollywood/Hollywood movies like Monsoon Wedding, Bend it Like Beckham, Mississippi Masala, Bhaji on the Beach, The Namesake, American Desi, Sully, Equity, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Cosmopolitan.
After her baby, the first film they (Purva Bedi and her husband) produced was a short film titled “Daadi”. This film enjoyed its US premises in 2013 and was also displayed on the film festival circuit.
She is an Author of “one Amazing thing”, a SCUBA diver and World Traveller. She also teaches at the Anthony Meindl Acting Workshop. She was the regular host of Zee living’s holistic wellness show, Natural Reboot. She is also the Artistic Director and founder of Theatre Disha, a company based in New York.
