Rachita Ram is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. Her father too was a well-known Bharatanatyam dancer. She to date has given over 50 stage performances all across India. Soon after the completion of her studies, she auditioned for M.D. Sridhar’s romantic comedy Kannada film titled Bulbul in the year 2012. She got selected and played the female lead in this film alongside Darshan in this film. She also shared screen space with legendary actor Ambarish in this film. This film was a huge hit and her performance was also lauded by almost all the critics of Sandalwood film industry. Her next release Dil Rangeela too was a huge hit and in just 2 films, she got started compared with seasoned Sandalwood actresses. 
 
For her performance in the film Ranna, she won herself best actress Award. She was highly praised for her performance in Preetham Gubbi’s action film Johnny Johnny Yes Papa in 2018. Her other 2018 released film Ayogya was also a blockbuster hit. The year 2019 belonged to her as she has as many as 7 films releasing in 2019. The most acclaimed being R. Chandru’s bilingual film I Love You. In a career which is relatively new she has worked in almost 25 films and has worked with almost all the stars of her generation.
