Radhika Kumaraswamy Complete Bio & Career
Radhika Kumaraswamy was born in a tulu speaking family in coastal city of Mangalore in Karnataka. She made her acting debut at the young age of 16 through Kannada film Ninagagi in the year 2002. The movie was a massive hit and she won Best Actress nominations as well. Since then, she has appeared in nearlhy 40 films including Tamil and telugu language films as well.
Some of her noted films include Thavarige Baa Thangi, Eiyarkai, Meesai Madhavan, Auto Shankar, and Mandya among others. She took a break after her 2008 released film Navashakthi Vaibhava. Post the birth of her daughter, she almost took a break of 5 years and retunrned to the silver screen through her produced film Sweety Nanna Jodi. The film did reasonably well at the box-office but helped her to revamp her career again. She once again took a break of 4 years after her 2015 released film Rudra Tandava. She returned to silver screen with the Kannada film Kontract. She will be next seen in films like Rajendra Ponappa, Bhaira Devi, and Damyanti.
She had a great career as an actress but its her off-screen life which has created more news than that. She got married at the age of 14 and had to go through domestic violence from her first husband. Then her marriage with former Chief Minister of Karnataka H. D. Kumaraswamy also created a lot of buzz as she was not even half his age.
