RN Shetty Complete Bio & Career

Mr. Rama Nagappa fulfilled his schooling from a local school of Murudeshwar, Karnataka, India, and jumped to work at the position of Civil Contactor in a small town of Uttarakhand, Kannada called Sirsi (also known as Hill Station). Mr. Shetty was not satisfied with his work because he wanted to build his own business. Therefore, he began his own company named "RN Shetty and Company" with his friend in 1961. The company working on building bridges, flats, and other construction work. In 1966, they took an order to make a bridge on Honnavor Bangalore road.
 
Furthermore, Mr. Shetty established a new farm in 1967 with 7 Civil Contractor. The name of the farm is "Naveen Mechanised Construction Company Limited" and took their first contract to build the Hidkal dam in Belgaum district. Everything goes well meanwhile the company suffered from the financial crisis and then, Mr. RN took over the rein of the company and for further 8 years, he started several projects with his stakeholders. After that, the financial condition of the company got improved. Additionally, both of his companies work to build canals, dams, bridges, tunnels, buildings, hydropower projects, and other major irrigation work in many places such as Gerusoppa, Gundalgera, Rajankollur, and Hidal etcetera. The farm also made canals for the Upper Krishna Project and created 18 tunnels under the surface of the earth for the Konkan Railway Corporation Limited farm.
 
Moreover, Mr. RN spread his business in the Hospitality sector. He built a 5-star hotel in Bangalore in 1967 which is now known as Hotel "Taj Regency". Along with this, they built two more properties for guests which are located in Karnataka. The Hubli (known as Hotel Naveen) and a Resort called Naveen Beach Resort (RNS Yatrinivas) in Murudeshwar, Karnataka. Apart from this, the businessman jumped into the vehicle sector and tied his hand with Maruthi Udyog Limited. He opened the showroom of Maruthi company at Hubli, Bangalore.
