Roopak Saluja Complete Bio & Career

Roopak Saluja, a renowned Indian Entrepreneur, and angel investor, the actor was born in New Delhi. He did his schooling from Doon School, Dehradun and holds a master’s degree from INSEAD in France and Singapore. He began his career while working in account management department at Young & Rubicam, a Budapest based company in 1997-98.
 
Later, he worked with Ogilvy & Mather, a Paris based company to look after their Europe’s Motorola account. Further, after working there for almost three years, he quit his job to pursue his management degree. He has also acted in Bollywood movie Marigold, starring famous actor Salman Khan in it, but the ad agencies then forced him to start his own film company in India. That’s how he founded Bang Bang Films in 2006, teaming up with Kirk Dias, who holds a vast experience in ad film production in India.
 
Their first project was with Sonam Kapoor for L’Oréal Fall Repair campaign, followed by another shot with Aishwarya Rai for L’Oréal company again. Advertising Agency professionals spotted and ranked Bang Bang Films amongst top 5 production houses in India in the supplements of Economic Times and in the Reckoner 2014 list of Brand Equity’s agency.
 
He is also the founder and Chief executive officer of the 120 Media Collective - a communications & content cluster including subsidiaries, Jack in the Box Worldwide, Sniper and Bang Bang Films; and is the founder of Superfly - Another media company which is creating content brands direct-to-audiences.
