Saara Aalto Complete Bio & Career

Saara is a graduate from Madetoja secondary school for music, in the year 2005. Later she learned music at Sibelius Academy, Helsinki. Simultaneously she joined Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory for studying singing. Saara was a born artist; she wrote her first song when she was five.  She won Kotka Maritime Festival song contest, at the age of 11 years and Charlotte Church International singing competition in 2003. In 2004, She also represented Finland in the Golden Stag International Song Contest in Romania She took part in The X factor, season thirteen; she stood as a runner up there. She was also a part of ‘The Voice of Finland’, season 1 and Finland's national selection to Eurovision in 2011 and 2016 and bagged the second position in all. She has a talent in singing in different Languages. She sang her song “Let it go” in 15 languages. She inked many songs including “Blessed with Love” and “No Fear”. 
 
Saara started her acting career with the film Wicked - The Musical as Dorothy. She also worked in Jesus Christ Superstar. She had also performed with Adam Lambert, Andrea Bocelli and Pianist Robert Wells. Aalto debuted as a voice artist with the film, The Tale of Despereaux,  where she gave her voice over of Princess Pea. She bagged 7 more films in her credentials including her recent release Frozen Fever. Apart from Film series she also gave voice in Television series like Pokémon, Bubble guppies’ etc. She was honoured with Finnish person of the year award in 2016, by Iltalehti magazine. The Finnish singer recently grabbed a big international album deal with Sony music Finland and UK.

During her walk of life by now, Saara was in a courtship with the singer, Teemu Roivainen for 09 years before she got engaged to her female personal trainer and life coach, Meri Sopanen in August 2016. The lesbian couple is residing in London from January 2017.
