Saiyami Kher Complete Bio & Career

Saiyami Kher was born in a family of people associated with the showbiz industry. However, her father had other plans for her and thus her parents gave her a middle-class upbringing. She relocated to Mumbai and enrolled at the famous St Xavier's College for further studies.
 
Her first love growing up was sports and has played sports like badminton and cricket at the state level. She was asked to come for the selection for national women's cricket team. However, after knowing that she can’t make it to the main squad she dropped the idea of making it into sports and turned into modeling. While in college, she joined theatre and started performing. She was just 19 when she got her maiden acting offer Y.V.S. Chowdary to act in his Telugu film Rey and that is how she made her acting debut.
 
She was then approached by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to act in her film Mirzya. She gave around 10 auditions before finally being finalized and was sent to attend an acting workshop to prepare for this role. She played the double role in this film and was cast opposite debutant, Harshvardhan Kapoor. The film failed at the box-office, however, performances of both the artists were hailed. She will be next seen in Mani Ratnam’s untitled film which will go on floor in mid-2018.
